Modeling of 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) for Sustainable Construction Waste Reduction: A Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM)

There is a lack of awareness and knowledge among the Malaysian construction industry about waste management reduction. Numerous nations worldwide have understood incorporated concept 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) in management, it has worked out well. This study investigated issues developed model for sustainable reduction by applying using partial least squares structural equation modeling PLS-SEM Malaysia. The research methodology adopted quantitative qualitative approaches sending survey questionnaire to relevant stakeholders obtain their views or perceptions interviewing an expert related field industry. Three hundred thirty questionnaires were collected within six months submission. significant factors are determined mean ranking reduce, reuse recycle elements. Based on results, exploratory power considered with R2 values 0.83%. At same time, results relationships between improving factors, policy-related generated, significant. Also, findings revealed that top generation reducing, reusing, recycling design documentation, guidance effective waste-collecting. paper will explore different dynamic practices, such as recycling, cost reduction, enabling managers estimate quantify actual size CWM costs benefits development goals.
